As part of Teacher Appreciation Week members of the PTO gave the Teacher's Room at HCS a bright and cheery make-over.  We hope all the teachers & staff enjoy their well-deserved new room!

2nd Annual Harpswell Duck Race on June 2nd...

After much anticipation the ducks are back ready to race.  The 2nd Annual Harpwell Duck Race will be held on on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Great Island Boat Yard in Harpswell, Maine.  This year the Duck Race promises to be bigger and better than last year with more kid's crafts and activities, boat tours of Quahog bay, and of course fabulous prizes.  New and exciting this year is the addition of a "modified" duck race, with 50% of proceeds from that race going to the winner!  To check out the highlights from last year's event click here AND for more information about the upcoming 2012 Harpswell Duck Race click on a duck or go to www.hcsducks.com

Clothing Needed...

Our school is in need of new or gently worn articles of clothing in all sizes (K-8). These donations will help establish a supply for clothing emergencies at HCS. For more information or to donate contact Darcy Murphy, LCSW our school guidance counselor at 729-5177 or murphyd@link75.org.
